Buckle-up for Safety

Peaches and Ochoco try out their new safety belts.

Since I have a small truck, riding in the back is not an option until I decide to re-install my canopy and bolt travel kennels to the bed of the truck.  So until they are too big, they will ride in front, safely buckled in!

Hi Terri,

Liz here, a fan of M-A's blog, and now yours! I love the harnesses, did you make them yourself? I have one that I use for my pug that works great in the car and hooks into the seatbelt. It is from the company Ruffrider (http://www.ruffrider.com/). Kiko, my pug, knows how to step into it himself. Have a great day!

Hi Liz,

Yep, I made them! I design and sew for a living so that makes it a bit easier! I've also made them a bunch of toys from organic cotton fabric for healthier way to play.

The Ruffrider seatbelt is great! A lot less complicated.
